If you are looking for top quality boots, (work, hunting, dress, or everyday wear), and real customer service, you need to go see Pete and/or Dave, and the super cute Boston Terrier (forgot her name). I have worn Red Wing boots since I was 16 (Richmond, VA). My very first pair was black, steel toe, above ankle boots. I wore them for work but they also became my everyday wear. Had them re-soled (at Red Wing) and loved them! Brought them on a deployment and the knot on the outside of my bag gave way and I lost them. Living in WV at the time, we didn't have a Red Wing, so I called the Richmond, VA one. They still had me on file, but didn't make my style in black anymore, only brown. They offered to unseal, dye, reseal the same boot. I bought the dyed black and the brown because I knew the quality of boot I was getting, and loved the customer service...15 years ago. We arrive in AK in 21, and I find that steel toe will chill your toes. A friend took my boots and applied "snow seal". Great, but I couldn't oil my boots anymore, so.... I took them to Red Wing Anchorage and they helped me out. They removed the snow seal, oiled the boots, and had them ready to go. Getting older, leaning over and lacing my boots is good, but I had been thinking about some pull on boots...but I'm not a huge fan of the "cowboy style" toes. They had a cowboy boot style top with a regular boot bottom. Wow! I knew that boot was for me, but I didn't buy same day. I wanted to share this with my wife. She needed an insulated true AK boot. She found one that she liked and we got 2 pairs of boots. I have my eye on the Elk Stalker boots and am planning on getting those this summer. Listen, Pete & Dave are not going to try and "sell" you in any way. They really help! While I was at the store, there was a guy who came in and wanted "pointed cowboy boots" and Red Wing doesn't carry that style and they let him know about the new boot barn. Many companies/employees won't do that anymore, but Redwing will

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great service and solid boots. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I needed without upselling. You can tell they stand behind their products. Definitely worth it if you’re on your feet all day.

Quality customer service with knowledgeable staff. I’ve never had a boot buying experience like this one and while I don’t live in the area, I’ll be getting my boots shipped up to me from now on.

I went there one morning with my daughter just killing time. I had been interested in a pair of casual/work boots for a while, but never found a decent fit. The fellow working there, Dave, was super patient and knowledgeable, and even though I think we may have shown up just before opening he was really accommodating. We figured out my proper size after some measurement, trial and error, and before too long we found a pair of Iron Rangers that fit perfectly (a completely different size than I was used to). If you’ve ever gone shopping for a new set of skates you’d be right at home with the process. It’s been less than a week and they’re already just about broken in and feel great. I love the fact that they’re made here in the states, and they just feel really solid. Can’t wait to visit again - many thanks.

Great selection, incredible footwear, customer service to match and they stand behind their products (and quite frankly “in” their products). Why go anywhere else for work boots or casual footwear? Made in the USA and top quality. 10/10 ⭐️’s
